Card Designer 1.5 - Free Download

I've just added version 1.5 to the Gumroad library. It's a free download if you own Card Designer. Login at Gumroad using same email from purchase.(reset password if needed).

In-app updates are back. Moving forward, after you've updated to version 1.5 you'll get notified when new versions of Card Designer become available.
Bootstrap 5 support.
Merged js to reduce files.
Minor bug fixes

Read This Before Updating

I recommend if you are in production or on a tight deadline, just wait until the best time for you to update. These features are new to Blocs, so the exact mileage we get may vary, but Norm promises to improve if needed.

As mentioned, you will need to download v1.5 from your Gumroad account. But before you do that, it's really important to talk about the many changes that have happened in Blocs over this past summer. Changes that are for the better, but may take a little effort for a small number of users to make the switch.

It really depends on what version of Blocs you have. In the most recent version of Blocs you can refresh specific parts of a custom bric. Those parts are:

HTML
Resources
Template Values
All

Moving forward you'll be able to refresh just the "resources" when needed. This keeps your HTML (your design) in place while the logic that's been updated can be refreshed.

Merged JS (Reduce Files)

This is a big deal because right now I think Blocs has a small bit of trouble purging files in some situations. You might need to remove some files in a pre-existing project.

You only need 2 files in your Blocs page when using version 1.5

card-designer.css
card-designer.js

When using version 1.5 it is safe to remove cd-swiper.css and cd-swiper-min.js from your Blocs page. This is just a precaution, as Blocs should remove these when you refresh the "Resources" of the card. (right click/control click)
